The Special Adviser LG Inspectorate Hon.Lawal Rufa'i Safana has revisited five local government areas in Daura Emirate to assess the level of AMC project.
The local government areas visited on Thursday include Sandamu, Baure, Zango, Mai'adua and Daura.
The S A observed the non speedy of the project considering the short period remaining for the completion of the project.
Though the Special Adviser appreciated the quality of the work, he charged me Contractors to ensure steadfastness and complying with the Bill of Quantity of the project to complete the work within the timeframe.
While emphasizing on the speedy action of the Contractors, Hon. Safana also observed some amendments that need to be effected and directed respective LG Directors of Works, Zonal and Resident Inspectors to closely monitor the corrections and come up with reports to the Inspectorate.
Later, the S A took time to inspect the project at Mashi local government Secretariat, where he appreciated the level and quality work done by the Contractor handling the project.
In a related development, the Special Adviser LG Inspectorate Hon. Lawal Rufa'i search on Friday visited Jibia and Batagarawa local government areas on the same Inspection mission.
Hon. Safana registered his satisfaction on the zeal exhibited by the Contractors on the project.
He therefore emphasized the need for the Contractors and all other officials involved in the project to speed up the work for the AMCs to operate within the targeted time.
